About JE Remodeling Solutions

John Fernandez learned the remodeling trade as a kid, working side by side with his father, who ran a local handyman business. His dad taught him the technical skills of the work, along with the value of honesty and treating every home with care. That early training grew into more than 25 years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and construction. John holds a Washington State General Contractor license, and before starting JE Remodeling Solutions, he worked with a local Seattle remodeling business that taught him the permitting process, building codes, and materials that work best in this region. Today he oversees project planning, quality control, and field support on every job.

Reina Melendez is co-owner and handles project coordination, estimating, scheduling, invoicing, and client communication. She brings more than five years of experience supporting residential remodeling projects, with a background in customer service and business operations. Reina also has hands-on experience with painting, interior finishes, and design selections, so she can help homeowners with those decisions too. She is the one making sure every homeowner stays informed and nothing falls through the cracks.

John's roots are in Texas, but he and his family have called the Seattle area home for the past seven years. He and Reina started JE Remodeling Solutions because they kept seeing homeowners stuck with poor communication and contractors who did not finish what they promised. When you call, you are talking to the people who will actually show up and do the work, not a call center. Whether it is a small bathroom update or a full home renovation, they treat your house the way they would treat their own.
